They say necessity is the mother of invention, and this was certainly the case with the creation of the UV Wraps concept over 20 years ago.

My name is Peter Linane and after spending 20 odd years on building sites I realised there was a gap in the market for stylish, but still protective and certified safety sunglasses, available through hardware stores. In the year 2000 I took the leap to start a business myself and UV Wraps was born! From humble beginnings, UV Wraps now supplies over 500 outlets throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Our retail network includes Hardware, DIY and Tackle stores, and we also sell to a strong corporate client base.

All of our glasses are fully guaranteed against faulty workmanship, and comply with the sun protection and safety requirements AS/NZS 1337.1.
